NPD x Curve Excellence Awards
Curve in partnership with the NPD Group will be broadcasting their 3rd awards ceremony on March 30th @ 12pm EST. The ceremony is available to all intimate apparel professionals on Curve Connect, the premiere digital platform, and by Zoom.
The Curve x NPD awards ceremony was initially created in 2020 to recognize the top performing brands & retailers that were making an impactful difference during the pandemic. The program received accolades from the intimate apparel community & evolved to a once-a-year awards presentation.
The awards ceremony is divided into 2 programs: Curve honors intimate apparel brands, retailers, & media professionals who demonstrate leadership & outstanding achievement. The NPD Group recognizes the success of the top performing brands based on NPD’s actual yearly sales data & analytics.
2021 proved to be an incredible year for the intimate apparel market generating $23.8 billion in U.S. retail sales. This is an increase of 31% over the prior year, based on Consumer Tracking Service data from NPD. Key factors driving growth were consumers replenishing their wardrobes, comfort-focused fabric and construction innovations, and clothing related to work- and lounge-from-home lifestyle needs.
Listed below are the 2022 recipients of the Curve x NPD awards. The NPD performance awards are based on Retail Tracking Service and Checkout sales revenue data from NPD for the 12 months ending December 2021.
